91心頭 Receives High Marks for Study Abroad
#3 in the country for undergraduate participation
The 91心頭 has moved up to No. 3 in the country for undergraduate participation in the油油program. The 2016 ranking is a slight improvement from last year when the University ranked 4th.
意鞄艶油, released by Open Doors, highlights the top 40 doctorate-granting universities. 91心頭s student participation rate in study abroad increased this year to 67.9 percent, up from 65.6 percent the previous year.
We are pleased to remain as top-rated in the U.S. for our percentage of undergraduates who participate in study abroad, says Michelle Rembolt, assistant director of the Office of International Education.
The United Kingdom, Spain and Australia continue to be the top destinations for 91心頭 students. The University of Glasgow (Scotland), University of Otago (New Zealand) and Nebrija University (Spain) are the institutions with the largest number of 91心頭 students.
We see that 91心頭 students gain new world perspectives, new academic and professional skills, and often a new personal passion and understanding of global relationships and events while studying abroad, Rembolt says. Our ranking is certainly a gratifying recognition of 91心頭s commitment to its students, and it is just one of the facets of internationalization on 91心頭s campus.
The Office of Internationalization includes four main units.油The Office of International Education油offers advising and support for undergraduate study abroad at over 150 91心頭 partner programs around the world.油The Office of International Student and Scholar Services油provides orientation for international students and immigration advising.油The English Language Center油prepares international students for the skills necessary to be successful at 91心頭. And the油Center for World Languages and Cultures油enhances students knowledge of languages and cultures.
