If you need a notarized transcript or diploma for an apostille, job application, international use, or personal records we’re happy to help! Here’s how to request one:

Transcripts

• Order online through the��.
• Choose “Hard Copy Transcript with Attachment” as your delivery method.
• Upload a short Word document requesting notarization. Please include:��
  • A note asking for the transcript to be notarized.
  • Where the transcript is going or why it needs to be notarized.
  • If you also need a notarized diploma sent with it, mention that too.

Diplomas

• Order through our��.
• If you graduated before 2015 or don’t know your 91��Ƭ ID number, we’ll help you access your diploma. Just reach out—we’ll send you a secure code.
• When placing your order, check the box that says “N�dzٲ�����” to request notarization.��

• Online orders are mailed directly to you.
• If you prefer to pick up your notarized document in person, you’re welcome to stop by the Office of the Registrar during business hours. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM – 4:30PM.��
• Notarization is free of charge.

Need an Apostille?

An apostille is an international certification that makes your notarized document valid in other countries. If you need one:

• After receiving your notarized transcript or diploma, you’ll need to send it to the Colorado Secretary of State.
• Visit the for details, forms, and fees.

If you have a friend or family member in Colorado, they can help submit the apostille request for you. If not, please email Sage Thao at sage.thao@du.edu. We’ll work with you to find a solution that fits your situation.

Apostille Tip: Order a New Diploma

If you need an apostille, we strongly recommend ordering a new diploma rather than sending your original. Many government agencies especially those outside the U.S. will keep the diploma permanently as part of their authentication process.

Ordering a new diploma ensures you retain your original for personal records, future use, or display.
