The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) program is offered to 91¿´Æ¬ students through an agreement with the University of Colorado at Boulder. Air Force ROTC programs lead to a commission in the U.S. Air Force upon receipt of your bachelor's degree.
Program Details
This program requires a separate admissions process outside of the 91¿´Æ¬ admissions process. Current 91¿´Æ¬ students planning to participate in Air Force ROTC should contact Detachment 105 atÌý303-492-8278 orÌýDet105@colorado.eduÌýto get the process started.
This program is offered as a four-year course in three parts: the general military course for freshmen and sophomores, the professional officer course for juniors and seniors, and the Leadership Laboratory for all students. Completion of a two-week summer training program is required prior to entry into the professional officer course.
Students can register for AFROTC courses through regular 91¿´Æ¬ registration. However, all classes are held on the CU Boulder campus and follow the CU semester calendar.
Air Force ROTC students at 91¿´Æ¬ are eligible for a Leadership Studies minor with the Pioneer Leadership Program.
